Surfer StrangersThe three young surfers in this photograph were featured in a museum exhibit. Although the background sky is a golden-yellow, we’re confident they were fearless as they charged into the blue Pacific.

La Llorona StrangerThis photo was inspired by the mystical, Mexican legend of La Llorona. A variation on the myth, the graded, golden background illuminates the main character who draws strength from gazing at the water but instead of a moving river, our version of La Llorona gazes at the sea.
